Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver official Red Hat curriculum modules for the AS200 program (RHEL, Containers, OpenShift, Ansible, ACS).
  • Coach students through hands-on laboratory exercises on official RHLS (Red Hat Learning Subscription) clusters.
  • Supervise and mentor cohorts during the 3-week enterprise capstone project.
  • Participate in academic defense juries alongside hiring partner Tech Leads (STARTX, Devoteam, etc.).
  • Contribute to pedagogical continuous improvement and syllabus updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience deploying or administering Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes in enterprise production.
  • Official Red Hat certifications preferred (RHCSA, RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift / Ansible) or equivalent mastery.
  • Passion for teaching, knowledge sharing, and open-source culture.
  • Fluency in French (primary teaching language) and technical English.

About the Role

At Aperta Scientia, we train the next generation of cloud platform engineers. Our flagship AS200 — New DevOps Platform Engineer curriculum (399 hours / 57 business days) combines 75% official Red Hat hands-on courseware on live clusters with a 25% comprehensive industrial capstone project.

As a Lead Instructor in DevOps & Cloud Platforms, you will be the academic cornerstone for our students, imparting production-proven practices and preparing candidates for top-tier Red Hat certifications.

Daily Responsibilities

  1. High-Impact Virtual Classroom Delivery: Teach structured, interactive modules covering container orchestration, automation, and security (OpenShift DO180/DO280, Ansible DO374, Security ACS DO500).
  2. RHLS Lab Coaching: Guide students through complex troubleshooting labs, optimization exercises, and official certification preparation.
  3. Capstone Technical Leadership: Act as fractional CTO during the 3-week capstone, reviewing GitOps architectures and security postures.
  4. Defense Jury Assessment: Evaluate final student deliverables alongside Lead Architects from our partner companies.
